dw guys there will def be at least 4 remasters sold for this in every conceivable anniversary possible so plenty of chances if u don't like the production to hear PJ's other sound flings take a crack at it for low low price of only

Excellent question.
Love the first one, didn’t keep up after that. Rubin is a different kind of of producer. He also uses excessive compression but records otherwise sound lovely. The analog-sourced RHCP albums have much wider compression and they are divine.
I thought Rick Rubin doesn’t actually do any engineering , but if the label can afford Rick Rubin they can’t risk making a dynamic quieter album and smash it in mastering ?

Damn...Stadium Arcadium direct from the analog masters was heavenly
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

The DM threads are dying. We need a second single.

Someone asked if Dark Matter was considered one of the top tracks at the Listening Party by those who attended. Come to think of it, from all the (limited) reactions I've read, literally no one mentioned DM or even Wreckage as a highlight. They've been mentioned in passing. Figures that these are chosen as the first two singles....

Then again, I am not sure how much weight we can put into reactions/reviews by people who just heard the album once. There are a number of Pearl Jam songs that I didn't care for too much on first listen, but later grew on me. A number that I immediately liked, but didn't age well.

If I remember correctly, Comes Then Goes was not received too well at the Gigaton Listening Party, but RM rated it very highly.

I've been resisting revisiting the door leak now that we have a real song, but I'm feeling very tempted at the moment.

Thanks...This is leading to a record release in-store, yeah?
