Puns aside (momentarily), I just want to point out that they have him on their financial records as both a co-founder and a board member. For anyone who wants to question whether or not Ed would be aware of certain conditions within the organization, he is legally obligated (as is Jill) to review and sign off on the annual budget. There is no chance whatsoever that he would be unaware of this situation.

Apologies for dragging us off-course. Is there a more appropriate thread to further discuss? My wife has some more detailed information...which she may or may not have acquired using internal professional development tools.

But, considering all the good they have done with this research and disease, i gotta assume there is another side to the story.

I'm with you on this, Strat. Obviously a terrible look for EV, but this stuff has a way of getting distorted, especially when famous people and copious amounts of money are involved. Not saying he's not entirely in the wrong here, but it sounds terribly out-of-character.

I'm in an administrative position overseeing a very large team, and since it's a college there is a lot of reflexive hostility and suspicion among faculty towards everything that we do as administrators. And folks rarely have access to 100% of the relevant information, and often fill in gaps with assumptions that are either incredibly misinformed or wildly off base. And sometimes they don't. But my lived experience over the past 8 years has really slowed my rush to judgement in cases like this. It is rarely as simple as the stories we want to tell make them out to be.

Of course sometimes it is. But it's hard to know up front

Why? Vs. and Riot Act are still great albums but Vitalogy easily tops them, everyone has their different tastes but surely the majority thinks that.

Lol. No. Not at all. Riot Act is fine, but nothing great. No one who was around for Ten and Vs can possibly think this. Hell, even if you arrived at No Code or Yield this thought is absurd.
