Why? Vs. and Riot Act are still great albums but Vitalogy easily tops them, everyone has their different tastes but surely the majority thinks that.
Lol. No. Not at all. Riot Act is fine, but nothing great. No one who was around for Ten and Vs can possibly think this. Hell, even if you arrived at No Code or Yield this thought is absurd.

I could believe Vitalogy. Unless Riot Act is your first album, I just don't see it. Different strokes...

I can accept album rankings of every configuration. What I can't wrap my head around was the "favorite opening songs run" conversation from the other day.
Beyond the scope of my limited understanding, that.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I'd bet it has to be one of the other two I mentioned then, Yield or No Code... maybe Vitalogy. ;)

Even if you take away the music on what I consider two flawless albums, the era made the music that much more potent. Good times.

Then you just have bad taste. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

Binaural? I do love Insignificance and Grievance.

“ARE WE AT WAR WITH EACH OTER?
ARE YOU AT WAR WITH YOURSELF?”

Oof. I hope I'm wrong, but I picture Ed during live performances doing that whisper-question style singing of this line.
