I hope the band give us more than the token DM tracks and I hope they acknowledge Gigaton at these shows.

I would be very pleased to hear Who Ever Said, Dance of the Clairvoyants or (long shot) Take the Long Way.WtOB? wrote:me too, seeing as we didn't get a gigaton tour. would LOVE to see 7 o'clock live. i've got tickets to gold coast and both melb shows so surely i'm gettin' some 'ton.LetMeSleep wrote:and I hope they acknowledge Gigaton at these shows.

Final poster and shirt done.
Not much of a line at merch if anyone is interested.
Quite like the show poster tonight.
Once thing I have decided is next time they tour I’m never buying a t shirt again. Have bought 9 in total for myself and others. They will become yard shirts in no time.
Doubt I’ll buy posters ever again after this shit show of a merch experience.

Re: 2024-11-23: Sydney, Australia
Haha. Yeah not sure why I bothered to be honest.
I means shirts I was running low on PJ shirts, but to be fair I hardly would wear one so...
Posters well, there are a couple of really good ones from these shows. Quite like the Sydney II one I got today and Melbourne 1.
But I still have Pearl Jam and Eddie posters in storage, some from 98!! Heaps from 06 - 14. So probably not a lot of point.
One day I'll probably just sell them all off.
Main problem this year is the Merch has been such a shitshow. Huge lines and not enough stock on posters.
I can only assume it's been 10 years so they've forgotten that people buy posters and merch. But you'd think they would improve as tour went from Gold Coast to Melbourne to Sydney but sadly not.
Either way it's been a great little tour of Oz.

The Ken Taylor one with the Owl over Lunar Park.
Got enough posters featuring skulls. I know it sounds funny but to me I saw one as the actual poster and the other as a bit of nothing special.
Went with the Ben Frost one from MEL 2. (Cockatoos)
Justine McCallister from MEL 1 (woman with butterfly wings)
Martin Ander one from Gold Coast (Weird dude with a fire in a fish bowl) - Not really a fan but again other poster is a skull.
Still have to get the Ben Brown one from Sydney 1 (the Cricketer). Sale on his site tomorrow so will see how much they are. Still surprised they sold out at merch stands.

Yes I did see that.
I am the dad of two daughters and yes that hits home so hard.
Not that you have to be a parent to have empathy.
Terrible all round.
