Doug, I’m in another world here. Snow on the weather app - Not a flake to be seen, yet the schools were closed today and yesterday.

Some parts of the district are at higher elevations however - the entire district was closed.

Finally warmer weather here. About 2C-3C now. A lot of melting snow, some has turned to ice.

The entire city is an ice rink this morning. Main roads are passable enough, but the side streets are covered in ice. Warming up later so hopefully that thaws it all out. Gonna be a lot of sore butts this morning.

Wet but warmer. I’ll take it after the frigid past two weeks.

We’ve gone from the coldest overnight temperatures in decades to consecutive days of record highs all within the span of 2-3 weeks this month.

Currently 40 degrees here (104 F), was 38 yesterday (100 F) and will be 39 tomorrow (102 F). Kinda over this Perth summer tbh.

But had our new aircon installed into our bedroom yesterday, so I am cool as a cucumber, at least when I'm sleeping.

Sitting on the deck in sunny 70 degree weather.

This will be covered in a dusting of snow by morning.

When our oldes was coming back from France last year she had to come thru Charlotte. Customs took so long we had to rebook her connecting flight twice while she waited and she still only made it to the gate while the flight was boarding. Good thing too, because that was the last flight of the night. We were pissed. In the whole time she spent there at the airport we could’ve driven there and gotten her back home at the same time.

its definitely one of those airports where you're wise to have global entry..the lines were atrocious and we were through in 2 minutes..half of the plane passengers brought boxes of Bojangles chicken on board..
