Hopefully is a live take, they used to do that in their videos. The Sirens video performance is great.

I don't usually care for their live performance videos at this point but I like this song enough that I'd enjoy one, especially if they play the hell out of it

But I was wondering, ‘Are they writing it on Ecstasy?’ I decided that the pure way to do it is to actually take Ecstasy, and then write Ecstasy music,” he says, laughing. “That didn’t work out. But I enjoyed the Ecstasy.”

There was a recording of it going around at the time. Anyone still have it? I remember it sounded pretty cool.

Severed Hand was inspired by an ayahuasca trip during pearl jam's first south american tour. i remember part of the lyrics were on a fan club thing before the song came out. also, eddie vedder describes tripping better than anyone i've ever heard.
