thats a pretty good observation, considering i try to shorten everything else i write. do i type the other members names out? i just feel weird talking about the band like i know them.bodysnatcher wrote:it makes me laugh every time how warehouse uses eddie's full name when mentioning himwarehouse wrote:yeah, the best song on the album, these idiots wont play it live. but eddie vedder will sing future days to his wife at every show.Strat wrote:Pendelum.

I usually feel like that, but typing the names out takes longer, and using only surnames feels like i'm trying to kid myself into thinking im not an uberfanwarehouse wrote:thats a pretty good observation, considering i try to shorten everything else i write. do i type the other members names out? i just feel weird talking about the band like i know them.bodysnatcher wrote:it makes me laugh every time how warehouse uses eddie's full name when mentioning himwarehouse wrote:yeah, the best song on the album, these idiots wont play it live. but eddie vedder will sing future days to his wife at every show.Strat wrote:Pendelum.

I fear that Infallible becomes a staple. Not that it is a bad song - but I cant imagine a good live version. I think it`s too hard for Ed.
Nevertheless, It would be cool if the upcoming tour was really heavy on Lightning Bolt tracks - like 7 - 8 songs every night or so. Even if I dont like all the songs it would make the shows unique.
7 - 8 Lightning Bolt Songs
10 well rehearsed classics
5 not so often played tunes
22 - 23 songs. End of show.

Of all the new songs, that one seems like it might be fun live.

The winner is "My Father's Son". The two people who picked "My Father's Son" win!

I think they'll keep playing this one pretty often on the LB tour. Its probably a lot of fun for them to play, even if it doesn't get a huge reaction from the crowd.

Wait a minute, so what if I picked Getaway or Sleeping By Myself? Do they count as "disappearing" songs if they never appeared to begin with?

I dont care if they get bored, they have to play the songs at least on tour 1 to support the album. Some fans want to hear songs dammit! Also, play getaway you pussies.
Its a shame they haven't done My Fathers Son again...

So basically the worst song is going to be a live staple, while the best songs are slowly being weeded out. Yup.
