Every time I see the title "Wreckage" I hear the chorus of the song "Plowed" by Sponge.

That was on Pearl Jam Radio, they called it the Eddie Vedder show. Kinda pseudo Self-Pollution Radio/Monkeywrench Radio 20 years later. I have the show too and know the song you're talking about. I don't know if he was messing around or whatever. I always wondered if you've seen Water on the Road where they take you backstage and Ed talks about recording stuff pre-show to relax if it wasn't a by-product of that.Farmer John wrote:Sometime between roughly 8-15 years ago, Ed hosted a radio show where he played a bunch of his favorite songs. Someone on here (or the old board probably) shared a link to the whole show, and I downloaded it and burned it to a CD so I could listen to it in the car. I remember he played a Fugazi song I hadn’t heard and I really liked. At the end, when he was saying his goodbyes, he played an instrumental electronic song in the background and then let it play for a short bit after that.WtOB? wrote:i think the good farmer dreamt it.
He didn’t outright say “this is one of my ecstasy songs”, but something along the lines of “this is a little something I had made” and WE ALL concluded that it must be one of his ecstasy songs.
And then I woke up, I guess.

Enough of this silly chatter.

Funny how they re-recorded it recently, and the guy now over-enunciates "wreckage" just like our boy EV would.Kevin Davis wrote:Every time I see the title "Wreckage" I hear the chorus of the song "Plowed" by Sponge.

Oh man. I love Girl U want. And that video was awesome. Combined with Demolition man though, IDK, that sounds kind of spritzy-punkyscrub12 wrote:

we've possibly got another spritzy punker on our hands (though if Matt can bring the fire, we'll at least have more Police than Devo)stip wrote:I don't know either of these songs. Someone put this into terms I will understand, please.scrub12 wrote:
