Characterizing having a negative opinion on RHCP as a "hot take" is wild.

Hell yeah. Heaven or Las Vegas is brilliant and where she comes closest to sounding like actual wordsIholdthepain wrote:Everything by Cocteau Twins...

Re: Great songs where the singer sometimes just sings gibber
What do you want me to say that wouldn't be banal? I'm not going to write an essay examining why "Soul to Squeeze" sucks; I already feel like I wasted the 3 minutes I spent listening to it after posting that. I've also made several posts in other threads about the RHCP songs I do like. Do you just want me to pretend to like them more?tragabigzanda wrote:this is neither hot nor wild. It's just tired; it's like having a negative opinion about the Eagles. No one could reasonably argue it's wrong to hate RHCP; yet no RHCP fan will ever remotely have their mind changed about loving the band.
What's most upsetting is how completely banal jorge is about this one thing.
You should change your band's name to Tedious Jorges.

This last post stresses me out...tragabigzanda wrote:oh i don't really care, but if you're asking me to choose I guess I'd go with just don't say anythingJorge wrote:What do you want me to say that wouldn't be banal? Re: Great songs where the singer sometimes just sings gibber
I can't do that, but if it'll make you feel better maybe next time I voice a negative opinion about the band you can listen to the instrumental climax of "Around the World" and fantasize about beating me up or whatevertragabigzanda wrote:oh i don't really care, but if you're asking me to choose I guess I'd go with just don't say anythingJorge wrote:What do you want me to say that wouldn't be banal? Is this video I posted also not available in other people's countries? Is that why everyone isn't complimenting me on what a great selection it is?

"Both the name of the song and its lyrics are gibberish but are intended to sound like English in an American accent."tommy wrote:Farmer John wrote:Is this video I posted also not available in other people's countries? Is that why everyone isn't complimenting me on what a great selection it is?
