btw Ronald Reagan was like full on dementia in his last years as president
and we managed to beat the Russians then
maybe that’s just what we need to do it again

I'm not sure I buy the "Biden is sharper than he's ever been" line, but he's more physically healthy and mentally astute, by a wide margin, than his "spry, young" competitor, not to mention Trump has whatever the opposite of a moral compass is. I think we're well past the point of no return on slotting in a new candidate, so Biden 2024.
I can't even begin to guess what would sway a rabid Trump voter, but put a urine soaked carpet in front of me, and I'd vote for it over Trump.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
I haven't followed Trump recently, but he doesn't seem particularly senile to me, unlike Biden (who definitely is). Problem with Trump is that he was always a malignant narcissist and sociopath (is this a psychological disorder?) so nothing has changed there.
Maybe the ideal is to have two near-vegetative candidates running. Better to have a braindead evil president than a healthy evil one.

If anything, the Biden presidency should have taught you that The Machine is larger than any one person, and it will keep grinding on just fine regardless of figurehead - whether it's a vegetable or a cartoon character - so don't worry about it too much. You'll be crushed under its weight either way, you insignificant peasant.
Biden has delivered a lot of what he wanted to deliver, and the things he failed to do had nothing to do with his age.
I know he mixed up the names of two Presidents once. I don't know if that's quite enough to diagnose a person with senility. And if it is, well, Trump did it 3 times this month (Nikki/Nancy, Biden/Obama, and Melania/Mercedes), so we can probably call that a push.

you call biden senile but at least when he lent money out to family he didnt have to worry about getting it back
