Barranquilla, Colombia is insanely hot and humid all year round. And I don't think we had AC in that auditorium... fucking brutal

My TV has this pop up thing on the screen as of this evening that can only be cleared by pushing a certain button on the remote.

My dog ate that remote. We use the Comcast remote but that won’t clear the pop up message. Totally dead in the water here.

Can’t get there without a remote!

I went to the TCL customer support website, it asked me to provide the date of purchase as part of opening the ticket. Like I fucking know. It also wants the exact model number which I would have to take the TV off the wall mount to see.

Now I can’t watch the local morning news to see how many shootings there were in Seattle overnight.

See if the brand of tv has an app for your phone that allows you to use your phone as the remote.
