How is this different from the iPod shuffle thread?

How is it not? I didn't mention anything about an iPod or shuffling. You can be listening to the radio on the way to work, you can be listening to a vinyl. It's just the last 5 songs you happened to hear. If they're all off one album, fine. If it happens to be via an iPod and you shuffle, fine. If you listen on your Android phone, and are checking out an album on Spotify, cool. If you're on your computer listening to Pandora, cool. It's very different Jorge.

the ipod shuffle is just random stuff from your ipod, not necessarily what you just listened to

And, in the iPod thread people list 10 songs. This is 5.

Whatever the first four songs are on Tom Waits' Bone Machine, plus "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun."

Listened to Soundgarden all night. First was King Animal, then A-Sides, followed by Superunknown and wrapped up nicely with a couple from King Animal again. My love for this band has grown ten fold since the release of KA. It's a real treat to listen to their old material for the first time in years and love it more then I ever did before.

Shame on the Moon - Bob Seger (blame it on midnight)
Don't Go Away Mad (Just go Away) - Mötley Crüe (blame it on the rain)
Everything Dies - Type O Negative (Pete likes vitamins)
Goodnight, Good Guy - Collective Soul (sooth my heart, it's burning)
Hold Me Up - Live (we can love or cry)

As Pearl Jam fans we know all about great songs not making it onto albums, but how the hell did Hold Me Up not make it on a live record?
No matter how cold the winter there is a springtime ahead
