I've never dipped a grilled cheese sandwich in anything. I just eat the sandwich

Can a Grilled cheese sandwich include ham or salami, and some condiment (like dressing, mustard, ketchup, etc) inside? Or does that have another name?

Personally, I was raised to believe that people should be free to eat their grilled cheese sandwiches however they so please.

I don’t think I’ve ever made one with just bread and cheese, and nothing else.

I think that's a toastie.

I like frying an egg and then putting it between the slices of cheese before I grill the sandwich.

Hot ham and cheese. Any kind of meat added instantly converts it to something other than a grilled cheese sandwich.

Probably the reason fertility rates are so low.

I thought a toastie was when you have bread over and under, and a grilled cheese is a open sandwich. No?

I see. Does that include both those with bread over and under, and those that are open?

I’m excited to try a toastie.
