Okay, maybe just the debut.
"Your Time Has Come" is kind of pathetic. The chorus stinks. And they open the sophomore album with it!? Wild choice.

All the songs sounded great. His cover of 'A Day in the Life' was just mind-blowing

i love that one, the lyrics are pretty cool. Overall the 2nd album is my least favorite from them. The third one is another great mashup between funk, r&b and the 90s.Ello Sailor wrote:Okay, maybe just the debut.

Re: Chris Cornell
The band is fucking grooving and you can see how they were already expanding their sound into something else. Wish they did a 4th album, although Cornell wasnt sure they wanted to change more.Rangi Guy wrote:Vinyl's right Sailor - that third album is great!
Revelations, Sound Of A Gun, Original Fire, Shape Of Things To Come, Jewel Of The Summertime, Wide Awake and Moth are favs.

Re: Chris Cornell
to me, the third one sounds even more tired and confused than the second one. i'm not really into tom morello, rage or audioslave though. i prefer scream, it's at least, fun. If at the time chris said "hey! let me do scream, and then ill get back with soundgarden bois next year" it would have received less hate.VinylGuy wrote:i love that one, the lyrics are pretty cool. I love love love how it sounds, not only Cornell´s vocals but also the band...drums on Cant Change Me are awesome.

PSA. I bumped into this awesome fan made compilation Bsides + Rarities + Collaborarions.
Looks like a lot of care was put into it. Most of the FLAC files are CD/DVD sourced.
