Sounds like literally every band’s entry on Yo Gabba Gabba.

Re: Dark Matter: Official Album Thread
why does he sing "you better believe it that you...", when "you better believe that you..." would sound so much more pleasant, and make sense

It's 4/4 with triplets on the hats, although there's a rest or ghost note in there (can't excatly tell from that clip).Ms Harmless wrote:I think this is a nice little folky jaunt
PJ have done some 6/8 timing but is this only their second 3/4 song? after Speed of Sound?

my understanding is that if it's in bars of triplets, it's 3/4LetMeSleep wrote:It's 4/4 with triplets on the hats, although there's a rest or ghost note in there (can't excatly tell from that clip).Ms Harmless wrote:I think this is a nice little folky jaunt

The clip sounds mashed together. Don’t really know what to think. The initial clip we got of DM is the worst part of the song.

Re: Dark Matter: Official Album Thread
this is why time signatures are a scam; as a wanna-be Irish trad. musician, I know that time signatures are about feel and emphasis, not mathBammer wrote:3/4 is the same as 6/8.

Also Come Back, 1/2 Full, RM, Low Light. There are quite a few.
But this is 4/4 with swinging triplets.

Catchy and hokey. I remember liking the metal door leak.

Yikes. Shades of LB and more damp snare. I really hope this is not the second single…
I am curious though to hear where the explicit lyrics are in this song.
