Trying to get through my massive black log a bit before the next gen systems come out. Been playing Infamous 2. It is most excellent. Can't believe I waited this long to play through it.

Fill us in on said back log and we could perhaps help prioritize for you.

I would order them like this...

Finish GTAV
Peace Walker
Buy...
Bioshock
Far Cry 3
Saints Row 4
Skyrim
Dead Space 3

I put Skyrim on the lower end due to the insane time commitment. Get through those other games before you surrender your time to it.

Backlog of the top of my head: Dark Souls, Skyrim, Bioshock 2 (played 1 and Infinite), Ico, a bunch of those PS2 HD collections (Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, etc.), Resistance 2 and 3, Killzone 3, Max Payne 3, Castlevania LOS, Kingdoms of Amalur, Asura's Wrath, XCOM, new Devil May Cry, Hitman Absolution, Darksiders 2, Dead Space 2 and 3, etc, etc.

Currently playing: Infamous 2, Beyond Two Souls, GTA V

MF: I'll sell you my copy of Saints Row IV, just finished it.

jesus that's a backlog. Resistance and Killzone aren't must plays by any means. Good FPS campaigns that'll take you the typical 8-12 hours. and KZ3 had IMO the best online multiplayer of that generation of games but it's probably wittled down to a maybe a thousand hardcore players by now. Dead Space 2 was really great, which is why i'm psyched for 3 and wondering why Monkey_Driven put it last on my list. And as he said, Skyrim will easily eat up 300+ hours of your life if you try to complete all the side quests and clear out all the dungeons. It was so great though and i'm down for a second playthrough a year after i finished.

Yeah, I want to start Skyrim but I know I'll get totally addicted, which will likely lead to relationship woes. I'm trying to get through the older games I got cheap then just shelved. I just don't have enough time for those 100-hour RPGs anymore.

I really liked the first 2 Dead Space games as well. The third one came out and I haven't heard anything about it since. That's not a good sign to me. I'm sure it is a fine game and all, but I think the others higher on my list are worth your time now.

My backlog is still incredibly long (I posted it in this thread way back when I got my PS3 in June). The only game I've played for the past month is NHL 14, so the list isn't getting any shorter, currently.

All of these games keep getting delayed for the new systems. I'm still pretty pumped to get NBA 2k14, Assasin's Creed 4, Knack, and Killzone for the PS4.

I'm thinking about canceling my PS4 preorder through amazon. I have so many PS3 games I haven't played yet, and with nothing must-play coming out at launch, I don't really need a new console.

Currently playing pokemon y, gtav and NHL 14. I still check in with animal crossing new leaf most days. Hope to fill out the encyclopedia in that one, but that can't happen until May. It's almost like my daily unwind after work at this point; just relaxing to water some flowers and dig up fossils.

I really want to play the new Pokemon. I don't have any Nintendo products, though. Oh well, I'm going to go and commit harakiri now.

You bet. Haven't seen any out in the wild yet, though so I can't say if they're in the game or not.
