Yeah I wouldn't call the British Jim a douche, but I recently learned that the actor Martin Freeman might be a giant one.tommy wrote:It's been a while since I watched it, but I don't think so. He's a lot more depressed and is actually the subject of bullying from David Brent a few times.spike wrote:Is the Jim in the British version a douche though?Alex wrote:yeahtommy wrote:I think the big problem is that early on the show is modeled after the British version where Michael/David and Dwight/Gareth are far more annoying and unlikeable. So when they pivot to making Dwight and Michael more sympathetic it makes Jim look bad in retrospect.
The pranks weren't such a big deal in the British office. The only one I remember is the stapler in the jello.

I've heard that as well, and if true it's highly disappointing.

It's an easy choice to me when Karen is the most attractive and normal person of the bunch, so you enjoy the banging and the marital bliss.

Unfortunately, it won't come out before Hollywood hires Neil Patrick Harris to portray him as Nazi who beats trans people and Muslims to death for kicks.Alex wrote:he could portray Morrissey in a Musk-funded biopic about one man’s struggle to share free speech in a woke world.BurtReynolds wrote:Wow freeman is surprisingly based.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I've heard that as well, and if true it's highly disappointing.

Re: The Office
Probably seen the show a thousand times at this point but me and the wife recently started over again with the super fan episodes.
Holy hell, its like a new show! So many great extended episodes and crazy some of the stuff they cut. They really did Creed wrong with how much they cut of his. He's just incredible.
