It better involve backup dancers and the band disappearing through trap doors at the end of the first set.

Without a doubt. And stone is the guy to do it (or Jeff). Ed meanders away from discussions composition etc.

We now know that metal door snippet 5 is won’t tell a soul. I had thought maybe upper hand. In fact, they are reversed on the video. We get upper hand into won’t tell when it’s the opposite on the record. In almost 100% clip one is react respond. You can make out big open (sounds like Emaj) chord being played underneath Mike’s lead.

Ok - bring it on. This is gonna be a great week with the tourney starting and more clips.
I've always assumed the slower, Pink Floyd sounding tune in the metal door leak (4th in sequence) was Won't Tell, followed by Upper Hand. Are you saying it's the opposite?

Has to be. We know won’t tell has the lyric “waiting for your message to come”. That’s clearly heard on clip 5. Upper Hand’s description now makes sense for the Pink Floyd sounding clip 4.
I listened again and you might be right. I think I heard that lyric in clip 5 now.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

They're all going to swing from metal meat freezer hooks in their backs for the encore
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I hope they perform Defying Gravity with Ed and Dave A. playing the parts of Elphaba and Glinda respectively

You're totally right! The chorus of that clip has the lyric "waiting for your message to come "

Seems like the songs are reversed

Can you really consider it sleeping by yourself when your servant plays some weird string instrument with a bow at the foot of your bed?

So is the last clip in the metal door leak actually Got to Give or is it Running? I wondered because the last clip is really uptempo and was thinking that Running is the only uptempo track in the second half.

very cool interview. Lots of new information, the new setup? damn intriguing.

Very cool to hear about those sessions, about Shangri La, Stone´s involvement. The whole band seems very happy and eager to hit the tour right now.

And im very curious about most of the descriptions here....damn, i want a second single.

I'm about to add to the fandom embarrassment thread, because I'm unreasonably excited for this record following the Stone interview.
My age tells me I shouldn't be, but, I can't help it. I'm giddy like a kid before Christmas for this one.

Apologies to Harmless for not following through and continuing with the punning.

Another thing that has me more excited now is that both Stone AND Jeff have a couple of songs on this!

yeah, thats pretty cool. I also liked how they changed method from Gigaton to this one. Everyone was pretty happy with those sessions yet they still trying to change the setup to make something else.

love that.

yeah, seems that Stone, Jeff and Ed each have about 3-4 songs on this. No Mike songs and one song based on a Matt drumbeat (DM).

It’s got to give. Lyrically confirmed.

“I’ll be the last one standing.”

There was an interview over the weekend that mentioned this lyric for GTG. Clearly heard at the beginning of final metal door clip.
"For me, it's all about the time we're having just playing the songs. So if it's kind of a mindless good time, then....."
