Don't judge the sound quality too much from that clip- it has artifacts all over it and is definitely not even Spotify level.

This is the one that was supposedly Lukin-esque so word salad would make sense. My initial reaction to this was positive which was not so much the case with Something Special so I will take that as a win. Also, when did Pearl Jam conversation become so drum-centric--not the drummers but the sounds?

Gigaton sounded really good to me. Loved the production and the mix.

I kinda know i wont be a fan of the production of this one, but it seems there is enough stuff in the music that will grab me for sure.

Agreed. Digging the new clip and Dark Matter. Seems like this album could be another winner.

I wonder how much they ever cared about that, maybe we just got lucky a few times

This makes more and more sense the more albums they release.

I guess the closest analog I can find with this sound is Foo Fighters, which is fine; I think the Foos are a more boring band than Pearl Jam

Damn Running sounds AWESOME. A little word salad at the beginning made me wince but once the chorus and stuff kicked in, so catchy. Love it.

Even has a little Gojira - esque pick scrape??

this little clip could be interpreted as Mike Pence's state of mind on Jan 6th. Not just the date with the gallows line but the crossing fingers, trying to escape hidden away from the out-of-control plan that was playing out.

Kinda funny I think will be appreciated here. I posted draft lyrics over on that other place because people were saying they could not understand a single word. I then noted that the lyrics were posted and the person said I saw that but it will take a few listens before I can hear them. WTF?
