That song really stood out like a sore thumb. Great album tho.
Taree is such a great track.

Blood on the Valley Floor and 1000 Days before are also standouts.

Weeeeeeell I don’t know.
Taree is the only recognizable SG song on this otherwise forgettable collection of songs
A Thousand Days Before is my favourite song on there, by absolutely miles

I tolerate any and all opinions, but, anything other than unabashed praise for King Animal is an incorrect assessment.

Back to that other Seattle-based band, I fucking adore Stone describing his part in React, Respond as "Caveman."
Pure glee

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Just to clarify, King Animal is awesome. I loved how little Kim and Ben cared about Halfway There and it reminded me of Stone, but reading the interview again is not Something Special but Wreckage, the Tom Petty oriented song Ed and Watt began together. Kinda sounds like a lost twin of Long Way maybe.

I learned how to join pipes and wire a light switch in shop class (DC suburbs in the late 80s-90s). We even had a game that all 8th graders played called "economy" where everyone was randomly assigned a job and starting amount of fake money and we had to figure out ways to trade job output units (e.g. food certificates or housing certificates) for more of the fake money and at the end we saw who had the most money. It was also the most popular kids, but that's actually pretty realistic.

That's a pretty advanced 8th grade. We glued wooden airplanes together in my shop class.

Thanks for the Halfway There reminder. Funny then, still funny now. Stone also definitely not a great poker player.
We added bits and bobs and, uh, yep..it's a song LOL

I wonder if this AR/mobile thing is just a way to reveal the clips that will play during March Madness before the games begin this weekend.
