I suddenly have the urge to buy a time share that's only good from Tuesdays to Thursdays from this man.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

People often can’t tell when I’m joking
I learned how to join pipes and wire a light switch in shop class (DC suburbs in the late 80s-90s). We even had a game that all 8th graders played called "economy" where everyone was randomly assigned a job and starting amount of fake money and we had to figure out ways to trade job output units (e.g. food certificates or housing certificates) for more of the fake money and at the end we saw who had the most money. It was also the most popular kids, but that's actually pretty realistic.
Wow.
Feeling slightly envious.

Thats a good example of a song that seemed awesome when they released a clip and the whole version was a let down. I dont particulary hate it, but it seems there is a better version of the song they didnt record.

Non-facetious question: What is it about "Inside Job" that some folks seem to dislike?
Sure, lyrics are a bit self-help Hallmarky, but, WTF? That bordering on cheese, heart-on-sleeve earnestness has been there pretty much from the onset of the band.

Hey, im all for cheese. I also wear my heart on my sleeve. Its not really that. To me, it comes across as a bit much. LIke someone is having a good vibes only mental breakdown on social media. This also takes into account Ed's vocal delivery which I feel he tries way too hard.

The song also tries to be something like Stairway to Heaven and it just falls flat for me. I dont know. Just never loved it.
