For the longest time at my office I've just used a little Sonos Roam bluetooth speaker as my PC speakers as (a) I had one laying around, (b) its an easy solution and (c) its a (kinda sorta) shared office space environment so I was trying to generally keep volumes down etc.

Last week I found my old Klipsch 2.1 PC speakers in the cupboard and decided to set those up again rather than have them gather dust. My God do I love having the stereo separation on my work day tunes again! Yes, I have to keep them essentially at a "1" volume level 90% of the time, but they sound just so so much better. Except for the latest PJ stuff - that still sounds like shit.
