This isn’t true; I have expressed my distaste for the production on “Dark Matter” as resolutely (if not as frequently) as Trag has, and have not once been accused of “bullying.” There have absolutely been moments over the past few weeks where MH has been on the receiving end of unkind comments that went simply beyond “disagreement” (i.e. the whole thing about listening to music through phone speakers), and sometimes even the “disagreement” is pointed and blatantly disrespectful (i.e. “you sound like a lunatic,” “stupid harmless,” etc.). Other remarks have just been pointlessly jerky (“how do you have time to post elsewhere, you already post 12k times per day here,” etc.). The fact that, at least once, these comments were characterized as “respectfully pedantic” suggests that perhaps the radar for this sort of thing around here isn’t quite as fine-tuned as one might hope.Kevin Davis wrote:Why couldn’t the people making flippant comments on the other side observe equal restraint?tree_ wrote:If this is in fact so, why do you give it any weight? That seems to be how you interpret someone else not liking it and discussing why they dont like it.

Resiliency is a good quality, and disagreement is not bullying. But there is an expectation, especially online, that any time a person feels hurt or disrespected, it is inherently their fault for not being better at being disrespected. This is a really shitty way to treat people.[/quote ]
