Just a few years back Eddie told a story about how he was at a bar the other night with Bono. He said Bono told him that U2 songs are like racehorses. But sorry for turning this into a PJ vs. KOL & U2 thing. Wasn't my intention. I like this album and think it's clearly their best since Because of the Times.

So these guys have definitely figured out their formula of choice. One guitar on delay. One drenched in reverb. 4/4 drums, heavy on ghosting. Bass does whatever, although the tone is okay. Vocals are dialled in.
It sounds like shit.
