I honestly believe that the worst PJ are the spritzy punk PJ, followed by the 'Eddie Vedder from Into the wild invades PJ' PJ.

There are a few bright spots here and there, but overall, they're below average at it.

That's why I get sad when I see them going at it again and again.

it sounds to me like you're so tired of the style that you're unable to hear the relative merits or weaknesses of each song example; I think Supersonic is near unlistenable, I don't love Big Wave, but I like Never Destination and Running very much and Olé more than many here; I don't think Running is "spritzy", it's harsher than that

You've got a point. But believe when I tell you that I try to take the best from the songs, like the bridge.

The rest, to me, is a mess. I don't like the ye ye ye (I liked it in The Fixer), I don't like how Eddie sings/barfs, I don't think the solo is any good, I don't like the production, I don't like the main riff. And I haven't paid any attention to the lyrics. Again, I do like (even love) the bridge, as I've said numerous times.

I wish I loved it, I really do.

Big wave is Ok to me. Never Destination is atrocious and Olé is really bad too. Then we have Can't deny me, the worst song of their catalog in my mind.

I hear Supersonic, Comatose, Never Destination or Running and I don't feel that, not by a thousand miles. And it's being a while since I can buy into a punk song by PJ, so I'd rather see them doing what they do best, and what is really convincing. Even if that is filling an album with 10 songs like Buckle Up, Pendulum or River Cross.

Looking at my list... Green Disease and Get Right are two songs that can fill the style of songs I'm talking about. 'Meh' songs.

I like the basslines, though.
