I've cooled on QE after the initial hard on. It's still the better song here.

Obviously, vastly different songs but Just Breathe is a hit and is part of Pearl Jam’s “best of” lists. Gets my vote. I mean, Willie Nelson covered it!

Same, but it won’t stand the test of time like Just Breathe will.

At the end of the day, if I could only listen to one of these songs for the rest of my life, it would be just breathe. It’s one of the best songs they’ve written post riot act, and I’d go so far as to say it’s one of their top 25 songs. I’ve expressed my love for QE, especially the absurdly undervalued jam and solo at the end, but just breathe is a classic.

JB was once my favorite song on BS. And there was a time when I would have voted for it over a lot of other songs.

But the east answer here is QE

I am surprised by this take given your love for backspacer and lukewarmness towards QE

Is Dave Matthews covering it, or is he covering Willie Nelson covering Pearl Jam covering Eddie Vedder’s Tolumne?
