These are both great but I think MFS deserves a vote for being the only listenable song the band released between 2010 and 2019.

Voting for “Take the Long Way” here. “MFS” was my favorite LB song at first but it has tanked hard.

Yeah, My Father’s Son quickly goes from “oooh, Ten vibes” to “ew, Ten vibes”.

I have to say, Take the Long Way is my least favorite thing Matt Cameron ever brought to the band and that's saying something. Generic odd meter face that only a drummer could love. Mike does his best to use his guitar to make it interesting, but in the end the warts are too much.

My Father's Son isn't a ton better, but it's at least lyrically more interesting.
