I don't know about you, but, I'm just about all out of spritz

I'm feeling..Outspritzed, Outspritzed, Outspritzed, Outspritzed!
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

If Running is not an "official single", I wonder if that means Something Special or Wrecking will be released as one in the next 2-3 weeks.

Wrecking won't be released, I'm betting the house on Wrecking not being released.

One key element to a spritzy punk PJ song is, in my opinion, a sing-songy vocal melody, which is precisely what I dislike the most about what I consider spritzy numbers. Eddie's voice just don't work with those melodies. It sounds forced and non-age appropriate.

So out of that list, mostly the latter songs will fit the definition, while the older cuts really don't. I guess the breaking point came somewhere between Green Disease and Big Wave. Although I must say Gods' Dice is far from a spritzy punker... it's a delicious fast rocker.

Having said that, who the F in their right mind would list Brain of J as part of those songs?! That's quintessential (somewhat) fast, heavy PJ done with class.

3.5 weeks. Usually a band will release one right before the album drops. Honestly, I just want it for the RMing.

I couldn't do it.
I know I'll be listening to one song after another.

I wonder if the Pearl Jam fanbase is geographically dependent like, say, the NBA fanbase.
Is PJ mainly an East coast or West Coast band?
Do people like it better in California or in Massachusetts?

E.H. Ruddock wrote:I know more people are coming around to this song(Get Right), and I also understand why people would think it is bad. So in that regard, I apologize to all of you who love DM or Running that I've given a hard time to, because I absolutely love this song. It is funny how sometimes the "oddballs" hit with certain people. This is definitely in my personal top 10 PJ.
I'm posting this here from the Get Right thread for any of you I may have upset or offended in discussing the new songs. I'll try my best to remind myself of this when the album comes out. (not that the new songs are "oddballs" but that everyone has their own taste). It is mostly Ed's vocals at this point that worry me for the album.
