I don't know why they don't add a live performance of the album instead of the visuals thing.
I'd go see that in a heartbeat.

I wouldn’t go if this was free. I remember how I felt watching The Last Jedi in the theater.

Re: Dark Matter in the Dark (movie theater screening April 1
I would go and take my son (13) who is deciding he still likes Pearl Jam on his own (I obviously raised him on it). But my city is sold out. Wondering if they'll add a second screen.
And whoever said that live versions of the songs would be great is very much correct. But the accountant in me knows that the margins on visualizations are way better than assembling a crew, filming, and editing plus mastering the audio. This is the essential schism between Pearl Jam the business and Pearl Jam the artists. I kind of wonder if the band members are even involved in this kind of thing or if it's just the back office doing a light-lift revenue generating initiative.

I’m not going, but if I did I might troll folks in the theater during the lights out playing yelling out “I’ll find you in the dark!!”

Well, make fun all you want but this will no doubt be the most unique first album listening experience I will probably have... and perhaps never get the chance again.
