Current rumblings around the MAGA right: there will be no 'fortifying' the election this time around and the powers that be are happy with him winning as they are going to be able to hang (unspecific economic cataclysm) around his neck. Is this a stage of grief?

Can't figure out what if anything in the news cycle is inspiring this.

The Spectator ran an article saying that Biden’s campaign is doomed because more Republicans than Democrats turned out in state primaries.

If you’ve convinced yourself that you only lost last time because the deep state interfered, then your “we’re gonna win this time” narrative necessitates a rationale for why they aren’t stepping in to do the same this time.

Do we have anything other than polling and vibes? Is the pro Palestinian left significant enough in numbers to sit out and cause issues? Seems a bit early to make bold predictions.
