You're claiming to have heard Idioteque more times than Last Kiss in public? And it's due to the coolness of the coffee shops you frequent?

Please, for the greater good: give yourself an uppercut.

You got to understand I lived in Portland, OR 2001-2005, then Cambridge, MA 2005-2010. It’s like a perfect venn diagram of hipster coffee shops and the birth of Rdio.
I initially agreed with Ello Sailor to have you uppercut yourself. But I know Cambridge well, and have been to Portland many times when I lived in the Bay Area, so I know what you’re talking about. It checks out.

I really really hope this thing does NOT leak. It will ruin my admittedly incredibly dorky first time listening to this in the theater experience because I am too weak to resist listening to the leak.

Nothing leaks like it used to. Most things show up only a day or two beforehand nowadays.

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

If it doesn’t leak before the theater thing, then expect a bunch of phone recordings from it

At the very least, you’ll get reviews from several RM members. I promise I’ll do my best not to describe how the songs sound by comparing them to themselves.

I've lived in NYC since 2007 and I've never heard Idioteque in the wild. Never.
