I think I posted a little on this on the Vs. thread, but Alone is one of those b-sides that bridges the gap between Ten and Vs. - it’s got the swagger of both albums if that makes sense. It’s not perfection by any means, but there are only a handful of songs that could sonically fit on both albums. Gets my vote.

of course they were written during ten and recorded during vs so it makes sense
