Aside from being a little annoyed that the author doesn't seem to know the difference between brought and bought, I'm ready to cream for Upper Hand and React, Respond.

Unless they're mistaken, Upper Hand sounds like they're referring to what we've heard Waiting for Stevie sounds like. I do love the Gang of Four nod on React, Respond.

As for Something Special, we're an overly-sentimental Disney household here. Can't wait.

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

As we expected, Something Special is the weak of the bunch.

Yeah the descriptions of those two sounds delightful.

This piece of shit better be the greatest god damned Disney "I Want" song of all-time.

Sounds like Future Days mixed with a little The Haves and a spice of Just Breathe

Hopefully the band quickly forgets about it and it doesn’t get played live much

The way he describes it, Something Special sounds like Future Days part II.

Gang of four reference makes sense. Damaged Goods could easily be the definition of the Police and Devo being combined. It also sounds like a logical extension of Backspacer.

It's somehow worse that Klinghoffer wrote the music.

It's going to be the song coming out of the first encore break for the entire tour

Odd that we haven't seen any other reviews that describe Upper Hand like that?

This and Waiting for Stevie being written with Watt makes this album at least 18% Earthling 2.0.

Thought the same thing. Most reviews thus far have kinda brushed over Upper Hand, no?
Waiting for Stevie has sounded like the big 90s/Singles "RETURN TO FORM" with the lighter-heavy guitar histrionics.

This review called Upper Hand the centerpiece of the album.
