because they give us everything they record now
Or at least everything they finish. Stone said they were choosing which songs to keep from the first session when they started at Shangri-La.
yeah, that makes sense

This is still really weird!

A video (of some kind, for some song) was filmed, teased and then nothing.

Maybe the Moldovan artwork dude did some killer visuals.
Gigaton's visuals will be hard to beat imo.

When asked about Waiting For Stevie, the reviewer on reddit has this to say

"Waiting for stevie is wonderful, leaps and bounds above something special. Its a big, positive rocker that to me sounds like a cross between Army reserve and Breath"

I’m willing to wager that he’s quite comfortable with it, and the fashion accessories etc are there because he realized a long time ago that the healthier way to live was to think of fans as customers, and not comrades.

Probably started right about the time he stopped writing chiefly to express, and started writing songs that mostly ambitioned to reward the listener.

It’s really great, though, that I can hop out of this place for a few days, and know for absolute certain that you guys will still be having the same four conversations (complete with the same three jokes) when I return.

If WFS is truly a cross between Army Reserve & Breath...I will be VERY happy

Segments of that dark matter video was used as part of the open for hockey night in Canada. The open should be on YouTube if you search it.

If they release a DM or Running video in lieu of a third single, that would just be the capper on this shit sundae of promotional neglect.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

From what I can tell, the hype for this album is huge. I'd say whatever they're doing marketing-wise is working great. Leave 'em wanting more, right?

From memory after reading Gigaton reviews they mentioned mostly the first 4 tracks as highlights and the last two.

I remember being most excited about hearing WES, Quick Escape and Retrograde upon release.

For Dark Matter I can’t wait to hear:
Scared of Fear, React/Respond, Waiting For Stevie, Good To Give and Setting Sun.

I heard a Sirius DJ say the video was directed by Mark Pellington's grandson but the band was not satisfied so it was pulled.
