Splurged one last time for this effing band, but only bc Wrigley is a bucket list venue. Staying a whirlwind 24hrs at the Wrigleyville Hostel, then getting the f outta there!

10 Club is shit, and so is this Ticketmaster 'premium ticket' nonsense.

No expectations, except being in and around the ballpark to take it all in and pay respects to dead and dying legends, as well as the hallowed grounds... :)

you did the right thing, it's a blast seeing a concert there.

if you like bbq, bourbon, and beer reserve a table at smokedaddy across the street before the show as soon as you can. sitting upstairs is an open patio that looks upon wrigley from across the street.

I love all of that, so thanks for the pro tip... also looking at grabbing a pie from Happy Camper, and maybe one of those lounges a few blocks south will have an afterparty. Just going to soak it all in and explore.

Are you talking on secondary market or on TM? TM’s cheapest seats don’t appear to me to be nosebleeds

Ah. Sit in the nosebleeds. We were behind the stage the last 2 years. Gotta be better than that!

love it. we've been there a few times. admittedly, it was better pre-covid (they cut their menu a bit after). but we still really enjoy it.

we've only ever been there for dinner though.

Prices are coming down. I’d like to go, but I’d be doing this one alone. Wouldn’t bother me, but the Friday between shows and before my friend gets to town Saturday would be weird. I like being alone at home, but I hate it in hotels.

What about it dad? I’ll give it a shot if you will.
