Flea´s bridge reminds me of an argentinian band called Seru Giran and that kinda threw me off in a big way.
Im hoping it will get better in the context of the album though.

$129 but that was part of a festival with a dozen other bands including Pearl Jam

Yeah, this is a bump on pricing for St. Vincent, but not unlike all concerts in general.
SD shows are a breeze, but LA shows get tricky for me. The distance from the border and traffic become a factor.
For LA I'd usually book a motel and head back next morning. But at $89 (x2) this means I'll have to haul ass back to the border after the show.
