The two night format has made it fun again, they were really in a rut for a while with those 7 hour slogs they were doing.

Woof, Jimmy and Jey just dropped a huge turd in the middle of the ring.

That was awful. Every other match was entertaining. Fun, if predictable, night. Ladders match was the best.tommy wrote:Woof, Jimmy and Jey just dropped a huge turd in the middle of the ring.

Not watched anything yer, apart from knowing one NXT result, and reading a couple of things from the HOF.
Will spend a few hours on the WWE Network now, on NXT, HOF and Wrestlemania Night One.

It’s not easy to rate this alongside the other matches, because the build is five stars, the star power is at five star level, the occasion is five stars.
The wrestling itself is fine, but nothing exceptional, and the show factor of the match so far is just ok.
I’ll let it play out, and then we’ll see.

Enjoyed the main event in the end.
Spectacle and show of it 5 stars, the wrestling 3.5 stars.
Overall 4 stars.

Saw that the ladder match received praise earlier in this thread. But I thought it was just too much, and still too slow.

Thought last night was pretty meh outside of Gunther Sami which was very good. The ladder match was ok, Jey-Jimmy was horrible, and the rest was average but disappointing for the most part.

Hopefully night two is better. Trickier for me to watch, as it’s on a work day.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
For being almost 52 years old The Rock did great, I thought. The match was 45 minutes and he was fairly active in it.
He also took a fairly crazy bump through the announce table which was great to see.
Rock/Roman winning was absolutely the right decision because now tonight Cody has the deck stacked against him. I'm sending a chaotic, overbooked main event tonight, Backlash 2000 style.
The crowd in Philly was dire most of the night. I know it was really cold but still.
