Vocal melody sounds like it’s copied from the closing song in the movie Moneyball that his daughter records for him, only that song was executed better.

This is the song, and I agree the vocal melody sounds similar.

Thats more a copy of any Jason Mraz song than this one…

Its one Pop song on the record…its no worse than future days, the haves, just breathe…if this is it…the album could end up being more hard rock mid tempo stuff…thats cool

Do you think Ed watched Moneyball and was so moved by Brad’s performance that he thought to himself what if i freaky fridayed the situation?

This is a nice melody that could have sounded great if it weren’t for bad production and the fact that it’s pseudo stolen. And the lovely sentiment is marred by the fact that it seems taken from an original song in a movie. Can we agree that Ed is the weak link of this band now and shouldn’t be the leader anymore? What is happening right now? Am I overreacting?
