Heard Fugazi's Suggestion on the radio driving home for lunch and I remembered the No Suggestion tag PJ used to do. I really should listen to more Fugazi 'cause that was a hella enjoyable few minutes driving today.

Bandsplain is doing a grunge series. first episode was 3 hours on the scene history (pearl jam focused) leading to TotD. First pearl jam episode is 5 hours. i am working through it. great history/research. this is great

Stephen Thomas Erlewine. Good writer. Has done a lot of stuff on Allmusic. Also a Pitchfork writer

Interesting because Yasi always makes fun of Pearl Jam. Unless someone else is headed it up for this episode.

I’ll check it out though. I can at least count on the guest to nerd out.

that’s good to hear. I swear on previous episodes, when PJ came up in conversation, she would say things like, they didn’t hit for me or they weren’t her thing, or she’d mock EVs vocal stylings.

Maybe she’s had a change of heart.

Kevin Clark is an old Ringer favorite of mine and he's a super fan. I really enjoyed the first hour or two I heard.
