tree_ unleashing mawkishly is probably in my top 3 for how this morning is going so far.

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Pearl Jam were once, upon a time cool as the Fonz, gleefully ironic, winkingly self-aware, filled to the brim with ideals and profundity, and nothing you can say will convince me otherwise!

No way. Fuck you. I’m cool. I’m a middle aged man hanging out on a message board, arguing that my opinion about a thing is right. What could possibly be more cool than that?

Best start believing in non-redemptive, plot-free slice-of-life meditations on the “tragedy of the ordinary,” Miss Turner. You’re in one.

really liking this. as someone said earlier, this is what i want present day pearl jam to sound like. i don't need them forcing themselves to be heavy at 60

any chance that it's matt doing the bg vocals? i'm telling myself it's him because i want it to be him.

The best background vocals (in studio) are the ones Eddie does himself.

You are most of the way there. Add a pinch of snark and the recipe is complete.

I'm in love with the Wreckage clip. The guitar melody is just beautiful.

Is the production on this one better than DM and Running? To me, it sounds better.

So far, I've only listened on my phone (while taking my morning shit), but nothing about the production bothered me with this one (as opposed to every other song/clip I've heard)
