Re: Wreckage
After the Something Special clip, I was okay waiting for the album.
This clip makes me want the album to leak.
This clip makes me want the album to leak.

Re: Wreckage
the drums sound the same, but there's more clarity in them because they're not surrounded by noise; I like the guitars here too, but they have a different quality and again, they're not covered in distortion

I'm just happy that most of you are enjoying this. Personally, it didn't strike me as anything extraordinary, but I don't mind it either. I'll wait for the full song to make up my mind. 30 seconds of a 5 minutes long song isn't much to go by.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

Re: Wreckage
at this point its online clip vs formal release, but I think this is worse than DM from a production standpoint. A song like this needs more space than Dark Matter, which pummels by design and in juxtaposition to Eddie's performanceCoach wrote:Is the production on this one better than DM and Running? Re: Wreckage
Man I love the way this sounds. I feel that this is a chorus leading in a bridge. I could always the verses having more space . It sound like a new Fleetwood Mac song with Ed having guest appearance.stip wrote:at this point its online clip vs formal release, but I think this is worse than DM from a production standpoint. Re: Wreckage
I think someone mentioned this from one of the listening parties but I do hear a tiny bit of Fast Car by Tracy Chapman in there. Tiny tho.

Re: Wreckage
where do we think the metal-door leak section of this song fits in? after the chorus? sounds like a bit of a break down

stip, I'm afraid every song on this album is bound to pummel.stip wrote:at this point its online clip vs formal release, but I think this is worse than DM from a production standpoint. This is pummel by design
Pummel by varying degrees, perhaps, but...pummel just the same.
Let's hope there will be better ways to listen.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
