DtE for me. Corduroy is an all timer, but I'll never forget the first time I heard DtE. So raw and unexpected. I love it so much.

DtE had to grow on me. Honestly, what's really made it top tier is the way the crowds (starting with South America and Europe?) sing the guitar part.E.H. Ruddock wrote:DtE for me. Corduroy is an all timer, but I'll never forget the first time I heard DtE. So raw and unexpected. I love it so much.

I would vote for Hail, Hail or Last Exit over either of these.

Despite my loathing of the current call-and-response renditions, it’s Corduroy.

These are probably by two favorite PJ songs. I guess Corduroy?

Evolution. It's simultaneously one of the band's best rockers and also as out-there an experiment for them as something like Sleight of Hand. Don't think it's ever left my top 10.

I love DtE, I really do, but Corduroy opening Lo2L was arguably my "real" discovery of Pearl Jam.
To me it's the absolute "Pearl Jam" song.
