I personally can't fathom a reunion, the way it ended and the tension would just be too much for anything fruitful... even a gig. Definitely found this funny though.

Aside from that I have really enjoyed much of their solo work, threw Council Skies on again the other day and it is just a super solid record.

Stumbled onto a college radio station on the way home. When I tuned in, they were playing a jazz piano cover version of Wonderwall. Pretty cool. Then they followed it up with a Perry Como-sequels version of Wonderwall. Followed by a Tony Bennett-like big band version of it. Then a straight cover of it. Then a Avett Brothers style version. Then death metal. Then hip hop. Then bluegrass. Then Blink-182 poppy-punky style. All versions of Wonderwall. Never would’ve imagined so many covers had been done. It was pretty wild.

I thought to myself, “Yeah, but they just re-released it, I bought it on vinyl, this can’t possibly be another reissue!”

…turns out that re-release was 10 years ago for the 20th anniversary.

May not be a release, just noting the anniversary.

I thought they did a good job with the 20th reissues, collecting all the B-sides (that I already owned) and hade some nice inclusions on the third discs. There's bound to be some things left in the vault but I gather it isn't too exhaustive that early in their career. I wouldn't mind a full live show from around that time as we only have Live By the Sea from '95 on DVD, though a bunch of footage was used for the 10th Anniversary documentary as well.
