Witness Trees: The Going For A Walk Thread
it’s springtime, and you know what that means: it’s walking season. there’s nothing better than strolling through the crisp spring air, listening to the birds come alive and watching the plants bloom.
why, just yesterday, i found myself treading the path of a beautiful lake-side state park trail, entranced by the sun-dappled landscape. so much bustling wildlife. i even spotted a bald eagle nest.
please feel free to share your outdoor walking experiences here.

Alex’s Mackin’ Zs: The Rizz Generation
Gen Z: we love to hate them. it’s all rizz this, no cap that, mid this, bussin’ that.
but are they really all that bad? surely there’s a silver lining to the extremely online generation.
share your thoughts, good and bad, about Gen Z here.

The Guadalajaran Kookaburra
of all the birds I’ve seen in my long bird-watching career, none has impressed me more than the majestic Guadalajara’s Kookaburra. a spritely little creature, it can achieve speeds in excess of 150 mph in the air. a vital part of its ecosystem, it is a crucial predator of snakes and lizards. some scientists believe the entire lizard population of central Mexico would be triple what it is today if not for the voracious beaks of the kookaburra.
