I’m thinking they wanted to go with a heavier track like Dark Matter. I know we haven’t heard Wreckage yet but it was a good choice to release Dark Matter anyway. Dark Matter has achieved great success.

Wreckage will probably still be a single.

What's the chance that there are 2 or 3 consensus PJ classics on this album? It's not zero.

For Gigaton, what was a "consensus classic"? Obviously DOTC, but was WES? QE? 7:oo?

I have a feeling we will get 3-4 that match the RM popularity of that group on this one. If it spawns even one song that is as loved as DOTC, then that would be awesome. For what it's worth, I think it will.

DoTC at the top for sure. Seven Oclock, WES, Comes then Goes, and QE are close but not at
the near universal appreciation of Dance

I know I am in the minority here but I am not that enamored with DOTC. <<ducks head>>

I'm not sure DoTC has anywhere near universal appreciation among the fanbase (beyond RM). I personally like each song listed more than DoTC which is a song I appreciate more than I actually enjoy.

No song on Gigaton is above a 4 star for me. DOTC, Take The Long Way and WES being my favorites

Conspiracy theory: they are test balloons! The sappy song was going to be the single until you all bashed it and they went with Wreckage instead. This conspiracy theory vanishes if they do not release Wreckage as the next single.

Where are those lyrics coming from?

I was thinking the same thing today. Congratulations RM! We changed their mind and made Ed look like a dodo

Depending on the day i might like Seven O'Clock more. But either way they are my top 2 from the band since 2000.
