F**k Dark Matter!

I’m re discovering Rush’s Grace Under Pressure. What a tight record.

The Body Electric - such an amazing track.

Guess it’ll be next Friday for me u less I scoop a ticket for Tuesday night at the theater (if I can negotiate a few hours out of the house and away from my 6 week old).

It’s ok. Think I prefer Gigaton but it’s not a competition.
Some painfully predictable stuff and some genuinely great stuff.
As always with a pj record.

Definitely one that’ll take a good few spins to get into.
That's gimmick infringement.
Lecherous needs to sue
Dime has connections. This is probably real. Dime, which songs jumped out to you on first listen. What felt predictable?

I don’t know the song titles stip. I’m really not paying attention to the pj world of it all anymore, but one thing, it flows better start to finish than the previous one. For my taste. I love Gigaton but found the sequence jarring and in two halves that didn’t really work. This works better. Touching back to that sense on vs where it almost feels like a setlist kinda?
No doubt people will disagree or agree when you get it.
As usual there’s stuff on here you’re gonna wish they play every night and you’ll never hear again. Force of nature kinda thing. Not in style. Just in the criminally ignored.

I know you were talking directly to stip, but, I enjoyed reading this, in particular. Thanks for the impressions.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I have no self discipline. To me a leak is part of the fun and I’d listen to one right up until I get the official copy in my hands. If it’s out there, please nudge me in the right direction.

Fair point :)
Do we have stats on how many pages reached before each album came out?
I remember the backspacer thread being relentless in the build up :)

If that weird 80s tight as f snare is your thing? You’ll be happy.

If you’re a normal functioning human being you really won’t like it.
