It's just more reassuring to get descriptions from people you've discussed PJ music with before. You know their rankings/tastes, so you can make an educated guess about whether certain songs will appeal to you or not, based on said descriptions.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

I wonder if that is from Scared of Fear. It is giving me Who Ever Said vibes which I think someone previously compared it to.

First clip does have a gang of 4 or devo vibe . It also has a cool Stone riff. So it could be either. The solo is composed instead of improved so that's good. I mean Mike is good at both but it must be hard at this point with a improv solo to not sound like 20 of his other thingd
