So I downloaded the iPhone recording but haven't listened to it yet.
I have tickets for the theater Tuesday.
For those that have listened, would it be worth waiting for a proper leak or the theater experience instead of listening to the phone recording?

it is a phone recording - i think the sound quality difference will feel like a rediscovery as things open up for you. like stages

Have read the last 10 pages or so and sounds like this is being received well.
I’m doing something I’ve never before with this band: waiting for the high quality listen. I’ll either have that Tues night or before with a TRUE leak. Have fun everyone and be back soon to discuss. An exciting week in store!

Ed's vocals, melodic hooks, Mike's soloing and Matt's drumming. These are the best things about the album, for me, on first listen of a 90s bootleg quality recording.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

I’m so excited to hear the hooks are strong. The singing was and always will be what made me initially fall in love with this band. As I imagine that’s the case for many.

The only bad thing I can say is that the other tracks are so, so strong that it's disappointing this something special crap here - hokey

I'm glad this leaked now because it will make the listening party I'm going to in two hours even more fun.

This album is something special. Which is ironic because Something Special is the worst song on the album. Excellent work boys! Can’t wait to hear it without a cranky baby.

Okay I might've lied to the wife about needing to send a work email so I can listen again lol. Upper Hand may end up being my favorite. Stevie is also fantastic. The baby talking in the interlude after WFS should be on the album.
