Initially I liked this but after 78 listens the sheen has worn off and this is firmly sitting as a bottom tier PJ album along with LB

I remember really liking the majority of Backspacer on my first listen...

i am resisiting the temptation to rank - partially because i love those albums and partially because this is such bootleg quality. And recency. i am just starting a second listen.

its very big and open. its not riff heavy. its basically 50 minutes of hooky vocal melodies held together with guitar solos and druns

There is no way I could possible rank the album based on these recordings but it is packing a strong punch.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

as someone suspected, the two singles seem to be mixed way more harshly than every other track, it's really weird

Better than LB and Backspacer for sure. I'm a bit hesitant to say it's miles better than Gigaton because I loved Gigaton and I haven't yet heard DM in the proper quality nor spent enough time with these songs. It definitely has the potential to be bigger and better and it sounds like a more ambitious record, to me.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

Wreckage is no Daughter.

Not sure this one will hold up.

Reminds me a bit of 7 O'Clock which held up for awhile, but then kinda faded

Nah. Ed’s vocals on this are better than Gigaton. Although they suck on DM and Running

Only 4 songs in but it sounds more like 10/VS to me than later albums.
