Waiting For Stevie

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

this really clicked on the third listen. Can't wait for a good copy of this one. It is the most Ten sounding song since Ten.

Re: Waiting For Stevie
This song blew me away more than any song they've released since at least S/T
It just has everything I like about PJ in a single song
Really feels like a throwback to TEN

Re: Waiting For Stevie
This song is fantastic but maybe the fact that it could absolutely be an outtake from Ten or Vs. means it's not quite as exciting as the other new stuff. Over time this may end up being a favorite.stip wrote:this really clicked on the third listen. Can't wait for a good copy of this one. It is the most Ten sounding song since Ten.

Re: Waiting For Stevie
I need to know the lyrics. I hear "You can be loved / By everyone" but that's the only part I feel I know.
Edit: this review tells me the next part is "And not feel loved"

Re: Waiting For Stevie
The outro reminds me of the Light Years outro, but more bombastic.

Re: Waiting For Stevie
Damn, this song is hitting so good on repeated listens. Definitely the album highlight. You can be looooved. What a great line
The name does suck though. Thinking about it now, I think it coulda been called "The Messenger" or something like that, as referenced in the bridge

And it justifies the title. They've fucking immortalized his tardiness. Sick burn!unLEASHed wrote:Had stevie been on time this song wouldnt exist, thats some funny shit.bluestate wrote:Ok, now we're talking... hit the spot Stevie
